Ghost in a Vacuum (EP)

Smeelio This album (EP?) is, to me, the epitome of short and sweet. With songs only between 2 and 3 minutes, it is upbeat and irreverent and the first album I've listened to from Baby Ghosts, but I anticipate listening to many more based on the strength of just these four songs. I think I'm gonna be playing 'Heaven is a Place in Space' over and over again, when I'm feeling down and want a lift OR when I'm feeling good and want to keep the mood going! Favorite track: Heaven is a Place in Space.

Anthony Hamada This album is amazing. The music sounds so lively, I could jump around and sing along as if no one was watching. Favorite track: Heaven is a Place in Space.

I can see your bones poke through your skin; I can't wait 'til you're a skeleton. I am as big as a planet, I'll pull you in like a magnet, I am a ghost in a vacuum. I'm gonna float into your space, Guess what? It's kind of a nice place. I lost my skin and my bones, You can call me on my space phone. Waking up has always been too hard; Where do I end, and where do you start? Don't you touch me, or I'll keep your stump; Where I've been is not where I am from.

Gravy Brain 02:32
Old man bones don't agree with me, Problems with my anatomy--I take it lightly. Just one chill and it's agony, It's too late to come back for me, this broken body. Oh man, what a drag, (I'm such a stupid baby) Put me in a bag, (I feel like dying lately) Everything's a pain, (I thought that life was gravy) Signals to my brain. Now up next it's a gravy brain, my cool head just won't be the same, so listen, baby: I don't feel like a superman, This was not in my master plan of something something...

I'd rather die than do anything else right now, oh oh. Get real, you just don't like leaving the house, oh oh. Well there's a lot to say, I'm calling out my window, but you never take the time to call me back. ... Be a baby and cry, and cry, and cry. I'm underground, Keeps my from going nowhere, I'm not locked down. Board up the windows 'cause this light is freaking me out, oh oh. Don't try to hide, man, I'm coming and I'm getting you now, oh oh. Why can't you stay away? I told you I can stay alone, and prob'ly never even lose my mind. If light gets in I'll die, and die, and die.
4.
Don't come here looking for a new best friend, There's really no one here I'd recommend, Hey dude, your skeleton is getting cold, I thought I'd hug it, but you're way too old. But if he offers, you should say, "Hell no." Nobody likes a guy without a home, You're not the cleanest guy, but I don't mind, My boots are getting heavy all the time.
